Tires?? Rainier ST.
I have the endurance tires, but a friend has ranger st . Anyone know much about these tires, thx

Never heard of a Ranger ST tire. Are you certain he doesn't perhaps have a Goodyear Wrangler ST....which is not a special trailer (ST) tire actually. It just has ST in the model name, but it's not indicative of it's purpose. It's NOT a trailer tire and I hope this is not what your friend has on a trailer.

We see a lot of these tires as original equipment on lighter Jeep products
I actually stock the P225/75R16 Goodyear Wrangler ST.

Maybe he has the Rainer ST. A friend of mine had them on his Jayco.

When looking at this advertisement link (Tredit OEM) you will notice all of their ST tires are radials. It indicates they are in tune with the ST market as RVIA no longer recommends Bias Ply trailer tires, 13" and larger.

No clue. I got 2000 miles out of my Castle Rocks with no issue. I changed them rather than tempt fate. My friend got about 4 problem free years out of his Rainier tires. If I had to guess he had about 5 thousand miles on them before he changed them.

I had Rainier tires on my Wildcat and they lasted two years. Had two tires starting to have cord separation. Changed then out before there did damage.

Rainier are chinese JUNK, bro in law bought a new Pinnacle and didn't even make it home, about 45 miles, before 2 of them had a baseball sized knot on the side wall

They had about 5,000 miles. I always had them at the pressure recommended and never hit anything to cause damage to the tires.

That's quite a stern condemnation without some sort of substantial/factual proof of something being "JUNK".
Everyone in the USA uses something made in China, even you. The odds are those tires on that Pinnacle were already damaged somewhere between the factory and your "bro in law's" home.

NOPE, I researched them for him and there were several reports of the same problems. The Jayco dealer even admitted he had several complaints. During my research I learned that Rainier are made in china by a US corp in Iowa. Someone in the RV business just told them to make a tire and sell it for xyz dollars and they would buy thousands. There are dozens of chinese brand tires floating around, they change the name every couple of years and keep on going.
And, NO, I do NOT buy anything made in china, the tags are the first things I look at!!
