Herk: Do you know if the GY Marathons come with D rating in the 14-inch size? I know they do in 15-inch but wasn't sure about the 14's.

According to Tire Rack they are only available in C rating for that tire size. Also there are bad reviews of that tire on that website and they list all of these tires coming from China.

I do appreciate all of the info available on this site but, there are no cut and dried solution to this issue. Everyone needs to be a "big boy" and make a decide what works best for them based on the information out there.

I jumped right up to load range "E" for my 829FKSS Flagstaff.. Why stop at D when E is only a few bucks more. The biggest problem with tires is heat dissipation and overloading. OEM tires are marginal at best.

I know it's all subjective, but I have a question;
Would you buy the GY Marathons load range c, 6 ply or Loadstar Karrier load range d, 8 ply? This is for a Rockwood Mini Lite 2306.
Thanks,
Ryan

Welcome to the forum!

I don't know that it's too subjective when most report better success with Maxxis or Goodyear Marathons. I wouldn't consider anything outside those two brands.
