Titan disk brake for my cardinal 5th wheel

I would like to know if changing out my drum brake on my 2016 cardinal 5th wheel to the Titan system is a good thing or not worth the cost?

I have Titan disc brakes and only you can decide if it's 'worth' the cost.......but it surely was for me.

I see you have a GMC. I have 2018 F350. Did they make the system work with your truck brakes?

Yes. It's turnkey. You just need a brake controller of some kind.

In my opinion the stopping power afforded to you with the disk brakes is well worth the cost.

X2 on that. Best mod I ever paid for, I can stop my camper before a commercial truck can. I can see the stop light turn yellow and I can stop. Came right to my house, I have a Silverado. All campers should come with disk brakes

No I didn’t. They were installed when I upgraded my axles to MORRyde independent suspension.

Great decision

The best thing I have ever done to my 5th wheel....stops in half the distance now....It is not worth it unless you never plan on an using your brakes....

I didn't mean it that way. I'm NOT A GEARHEAD. I figured I had the terms wrong. I've heard "Master Cylinder" all my life, but I couldn't identify one on "Price is Right"!! LOL

I bought the optional disk brakes and upgraded my rear axle when I ordered my Cardinal last spring and in my opinion any camper over 30 should have a disk brake option. The stopping ability is so much greater with disk over drum. The aftermarket systems are about the same amount as the disk brake option I ordered, it's worth every penny.
