Getting ready for a trip and noticed a hum on front end. Jacked front end up and manually rotated wheels. I hear a clicking on both sides. Is this normal.

Also replaced front brakes 3 times in 40K miles. Inner pads seem to be wearing out.? Back brakes are fine.
The front calipers are sticking and need to be replaced, GM also had problems with the rubber brake line going to the wheel deteriorating on the inside and not allowing pressure off of the calipers.

When I bought the truck front brakes were replaced.
20K later I noticed pads worn out;
I replaced pads not rotors they looked fine.
Again 20K later pads worn out. This time I replaced pads and rotors.
I was wondering about calipers hanging up.
Any way to test calipers or hoses.
Wheels seem to spin freely when on jack stands?
Sound like calipers and would recommended ceramic pads as they last much longer, cleaner too. Be sure to bleed the brakes.
Had the same problem with brakes on my 1500 4x4. Every 25k new pads. Ceramic I get 40 plus k
Does this have anything to do with my clicking?

Don't ever recall a clicking sound. Wheel bearings? or maybe dirt lodged in between the rotors and pads. Pull the calipers off and rotate the disc. Might have broken pads.
