Towmax are they really that bad?

Would like to hear some positive feedback on Towmax. I know they use them as OEM on some Jayco models.

I have them on my 5th wheel with approximately 8500 miles on them. They are just like new.

I just replaced the Towmax tires that came from the factory on my 2013 Surveyor 305bh. They had approximately 8000 miles on them. They were 225/75/15 load rated d. I replaced them for Maxxis with a load rating of e mainly due to age and the amount of load capacity.
The Towmax tires performed well. They seemed a little soft and sidewalls flexed a little more than I liked. I always ran them at the max air pressure of 65lbs and did not have any problems with them whatsoever. NTB sells Towmax with the e rating as well, but I prefer to deal with Discount Tire. And the Maxxis reputation is hard to beat. I would have no problem using Towmax tires again though.

I had them and ran them for a season. I had a hunch they would fail, replaced with Good Year's. The towmax had rotted beads just ready to blow. Saved my trailer and trip!

had one blow after 2 years. Only about 2500 miles on them. Had just checked pressure, and was only about 2 miles from home at 25 MPH when it blew. They are ticking time bombs.

I replaced my factory bias ply 205/75/15 load C (even lesser known china brand) with same size Towmax STR II Load range D radials. They came with the new L speed rating.

They don't heat up near as much as the bias ply's did after a highway run. Trailer pulls better with them. I have about 600 miles on them, still new looking.

I had the radials on my boat and 6.5X14 utility trailer. No issues so far with two years and several trips on both. They replace Carlisle that blew on my boat trailer after just a few trips and 6 year old GY Marathons that dry rotted.
