TPMS ?

dose anyone have the TST tire pressure system? How is it working for you and do you have any trouble with the sensors attached to the out side valve stem. I will want to install it on a 5er and also wonder about its range If there is any issues with that.

I bought the 507, will be installing them on Friday-I can report back after the holiday weekend. I've got a 36DBK5, 60' front bumper to rear, including TV, will probably max out the range on the receiver and transmitters.

I don't think range will be an issue. I have the TST system and have noticed that my truck will monitor the tire pressure of my trailer when the trailer is in my metal barn and the truck is outside the barn.

I have the TST507 and it's great. Replaced a Tyredog system that died on me after barely more than a year and the manufacturer refused to return calls or emails to help me figure out if it was dead or just locked up somehow. The Tyredog required a repeater and was iffy at best when used on a 31' MH. The TST507 is great with no repeater and is running right now on our new Legacy SR340 360RB (39'). Have had 100% connection and absolutely no issues. On our trip next week, I'm adding toad monitors and will see if that extra length requires the repeater, but I think it will be good without it.

I have the TST507 system and it works just fine. It told me the instant that all 3 blowouts happened. The sensors only report every 5 minutes unless you have either a blowout or fast psi drop. Still, if you start losing pressure or they get too hot, it will tell you. They are worth the money.

X2 on all. TST folks are very invested in their company and act as such. I know there are other units out there that folks will swear by.. they're probably right.. ain't too many slouches around this forum, but it's probably safe to say you sure wouldn't regret a TST 507.

Had to chuckle at Mike though. Reminded me of my flying days. It was always the noob that would fret when you had to shut down one of the engines. "How far can we fly on one engine??" and the answer was always the same.. "No worries... all the way to the scene of the crash".
