Trailer aid plus

So I bought one of these so I wouldn't have to jack anything on the side of the highway- like the idea of just pulling trailer up the ramp. The problem is today upgrade to load range D tires and pulled trailer onto the trailer aid and alas not high enough off the ground to take the tires off. Even after I put on the D's with the stiffer sidewall close but not it. Any ideas?
