TST 507 Sensors

After replacing the crap Trail Express tires after about 1300 miles with Maxxis 15" radials and purchasing the TST 507 package for four tires I though I would give you my thoughts.

Our first trip with the new tires started on 6/26 in about 60 degree weather......yes, that is the start of summer in Western WA.

Our trip was about 190 miles each way. Since we got the sensors the day before I installed them the next day in the morning. Programming and installing was easy. I monitored over a few hours while set-up to make sure there were no leaks. All good.

On the way home I would check every few minutes. It was interesting to see the changes in pressure and temp. as the speed and weather changed. Could tell where the sun was and if we were at cruising speed. (60 mph)

Set the upper and lower limits per the recommendations. Stayed in range and was pleased how the trailer pulled and how the Maxxis tires performed.

Never lost signal (28 foot trailer and 2011 Silverado longbed.)

Very nice to have the combination of good tires and a TPMS in place.

I would highly recommend TST 507 system and Maxxis tires. Picture included.
