If you get a TST check your distance from where you mount the receiver and the wheels. it is a bit over 34feet on ours and we have some issues with sensors randomly going out on the display. Mike from TST believes we need the repeater which I will install next year as we are done camping for this year.

On mine, before a trip i put the receiver on in the truck in the garage and the trailer is on the drive, over 40 feet, no problem

I recently had a problem with the monitor working intermittently on my tire minder system. I contacted them, explained the problem, they sent me a new monitor. Works great once again.

X2. I have the TST system and mine is probably more like 75 feet away when my truck is in the garage and it picks up all of the tires just fine. Mine is only 7 months old and I may find that changes as the batteries get some age on them. I dunno!

Are you able to change the batteries with either of these systems or do you have to replace the sensor when the batteries die?

Tireminder also has replaceable batteries. In fact, they may have a replacement plan that gives you the batteries free.

I have a TM and am happy with it's performance. The original receiver had a problem when I received it but they replaced it. Also they do have a battery replacement program.
