VLite Axle Question

Need to know if the attached photo looks right. From a 2014 28WRBS V Lite. Both of the axles on both sides are set up the same on the hangers. My feeling is that there should be no space showing much less space that is triangle shaped. Any help would be appreciated.

Axle

That is what I think, but all four hangers are set up the same. Looks like this came from the factory this way. Question would be, can I just loosen the nuts and let the trailer settle down?

To me it looks like it slipped because of the marks from the washer. I think the Rockwood ultralites had the same issue and some one on this forum had fixed it by adding some more bolts and torqueing them to speck. Also I don't think you can just loosing them to settle back because of the torque axles would still try to push it the same way you would have to jack the trailer at the frame to get it back to the frame.

To all, I did check out a new VLite 28WRBS and there was no space showing on the hangers. Just can't figure out why each axle hanger has the same space and set up. The space is toward the front of the trailer.

What onetonford said . the torque of the axles causes them to move that way . you'll need to jack trailer reposition and then torque the bolts . maybe adding a set screw so it does not happen again

Not as hard as it may seem . just loosen the bolts that slipped jack back into place and torque them down . then come up with some sort of fix so it doesn't happen again . set screw etc
