Had to make a top plate to place over the top of jack. Also have a base plate to keep jack from sinking into ground. Picks up both tires using the pictured location. Worked great when I put on the new tires.

Jack
I use the Anderson drive on jack. Can also be used for tongue block. Prevents bending an axle or crossmember support on Dexter Torsion axles. Many of the Ultra Lights have no good place to put a bottle jack. Check your trailer.

I can lift at the frame, above the axles, but that's like 22 inches on my trailer. I am going to order the Trailer Aid Plus today, and if I need a little additional lift I will break out the screw jack from my TV.
I really appreciate everyone's input!
btw - also ordered some safety triangles, based on TitanMike's suggestion.

I use a cut off piece of wood that could have been part of a railroad tie. Just drive onto it with the good tire and the other tire lifts. Nice and stable!

I haven't heard anyone using a angled block of wood to simply pull your trailer up onto using the good tire lifting the flat tire up enough to change it. Does anyone do this?

That's essentially what the Trailer Aid device is that someone shared above.
It works. Some people are concerned with the extra/over load on the good tire and wonder if it'll cause problems.

When driving down the road, a tire will see double its load many times so not really a concern since when jacking the trailer up, its just a static load. When one gets a flat and one tire is carrying twice the dynamic load while trying to move over to the side of the road is the worst time for that other tire.

We have this one. 3 ton, lightweight aluminum. It's cable locked in the bed of the truck.

Big red floor jack
I use a portable Big Red floor jack, I also rent so I don’t need the headache of a renter not knowing how to use their own vehicle jack. Also if the tongue jack fails you have a means to get the trailer up.

I'm towing with an open bed pickup, so lots of space, but not lots of lockable space.
What do most people do for these kinds of rigs?
Thanks!

Dual or single axle
If your tt has dual axles check out the anderson rapid jack, works slick, light weight, and can double for leveling your rig in a pinch if you need it to. I use the anderson levelers as well but did see a fiver owner use his rapid jack a couple of months ago while on the coast.

I have torsion axles on my Rockwood 5'R and have no problem getting the bottle jack on the frame, which is where you are supposed to jack anyway.

I have convinced myself, by looking at it, not by trying it, that the jack in my 2018 Chevy will work on my TT. I hope I am correct.

The best purchase I ever made. Camco Trailer-Aid "Plus" Tandem Tire Changing Ramp. I bought mine at Walmart for about $36. It will hold up to 15,000 lbs and raises the wheel 5 1/2 inches. I had to have new tire valve stems installed and the guys at the tire store used it to raise the trailer. They had never seen one and loved it. The owner said he was going to order one to have on his service truck.

I Use Trailer Aid Plus
I frequently tow my 22 foot inTech race trailer with my Sunseeker Class C motorhome. I have a Trailer Aid Plus that I purchased on Amazon. It holds up to 15,000 pounds, and has a 5.5 inch lift. My trailer has Dexter Torflex axles and the one time I had to use it, it worked great; quick, easy and safe. I also carry a 1/2 inch Makita 18v cordless impact that makes a tire change much easier.
Since I am towing a trailer with a Class C, weight is always an issue. I try to avoid floor jacks, wooden blocks, etc. The Trailer Aid is very light. Note, the picture attached is from Amazon, but it demonstrates how it works.

I carry a small 4 ton bottle jack and some pieces of 2x8 to place under the jack. My springs are underneath the axle so I have a got point to place the jack. By jacking the axle your not lifting the whole trailer, so you can get away with a small jack. I know all about the possibility of bending the axle, won't happen if you jack at the spring attachment.
