What's the alternative to China Bombs
It seems almost every ST tire is made in China now so what differentiates one tire from the other with these things?

I guess your statement of yours being made in Ti was reference to Taiwan, which in some circles is still China.

I have yet to find an RV tire made in US. I have found them in China, Vietnam and a couple of other places. My take is that if you inflate them properly - if it states 80 psi on the tire, run it at 80 psi, and tow it at 65 mph you will not have a problem. I have pulled fifth wheels and Hi-LO and Pop up from Ga to Ill to SC to FL to TN etc and never had a problem. I have gone up and down mountains, interstates and back roads. Hopefully all of these posts are just the bad ones and are in the minority.

Our Good Year Marathons were made in China too. We have had them since last July and have been to Tennessee and back to Niagara Fall, Maine, and back. So far so good. That is starting from North Texas.

"China Bombs" should only refer to OEM tire sizes on a new TT or MH.
Sometimes to save a nickle the very minimum tire is put on the TT or MH to get it off the lot. After only a season or two, or possibly less, the owner should then replace with the next larger size or higher load range tire they can find... that is still made in China. This might give you an extra margin of loading and be somewhat safer... but only if properly inflated and run at reasonable speeds.

What differentiates them is the manufacturer specifications. It's true that most ST's are pretty much jungle junk, but Goodyear Marathons and Maxxis still produce a fairly decent tire.. in the ST world that is.

I think your only option is to buy the best tire you feel comfortable with from the Pacific rim.
