They were 118 a tire the 27.00 to ship from tire rack then 30 to install. So they are more than most. But rated for D 2200 pounds and max speed of 88 miles per hour.

So they were not trailer tires?

It's too bad they don't make Kumhos in 15 inch, or I would surely have considered them.
Good looking trailer tire.
I think you will feel a lot better having those puppies on your camper!

And they are made in Korea, which is a big bonus.

According to their chart max speed is 65 with a load rating of 2094 per pg 68 of their brochure.

jlgail, in case you haven't seen it yet, Tirerack has a spec sheet on your tires.
You just go to the following link, and hit the "specs" button.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....del=Radial+857

As you can see, the load rating is 2094 lbs at 65 psi.
But what surprised me is that it has an "R" speed rating, which is 106 mph!
So, it would seem that if you want to cruise at 70 down some hills, you should have a fair bit of safety there.
So you have a safe cushion not just in load capacity, but speed as well. That is what we should be getting straight from the factory.
JMO, of course.

Enjoy your new tires. As others have said I hope you had them balanced. IMHO the two leading causes of tire problems on trailers are overloading and then people shaking them to death by going too fast while having them unbalanced. For what it's worth anyway...

Just remember not to push the weight limit by any means and leave the lead foot back at home while trailering. Blow outs SUCK!

---

Off subject here but ST tires don't impress me in the slightest. Why oh why has a tire manufacturer not grown a brain and manufactured a limited series on LT tires in 15". It seems most trailer manufacturers run 225/75R15 on larger trailers with D or E as appropriate. Just seems like a sure fire sell if it's by a quality name with a quality build tire. Case and point, look at all us Maxxis fans... Just imagine if we had the comfort and peace of mind of a heavier duty more rugged and better rated tire for both load and speed.
