Just got a new Cedar Creek 29ir. The fifth wheel has standard wheels and tires for the unit -- 16 inch tires, and I believe aluminum wheels.
My dealer told me to torque the wheel to 80 pounds. There is a sticker from the factory on the front of the unit that says the torqued to 110, with a date.
I find information from Lippert and Dexter in all the new unit information and they say 110-120 pounds, but in reading further, that is for steel wheels.
First time I went out, I torqued to 105, and almost all the nuts took 1/8 to 1/4 turn. What is the correct torque, and how that I'm at 105, should I back off to 80 (if that is the correct pressure).
Appreciate that help.
