Maxxis has been the best st tire I've tried over the years. Currently using Carlisle radials though as an Amazon seller had them amazingly cheap recently and free shipping with prime.

Goodyear Endurance was the last set I put on my TT. I will be buying a set for my TH in the spring. Prior to that, I used Maxxis without issue and they were solid. So those two brands are the only one's I would personally recommend.

Old post but I just wanted to add to it. I think you meant Kenda not Kumho. I just bought a 2011 ROO and it had Karrier loadstars on it. The tires were the originals date coded 2010. Since it was only about 40 degrees out I hauled it home 250 miles with no problems. Tires looked good coming off.

Old Tires

Before I retired I had owned a couple of tire stores and a couple of lube shops. Even though tires look great when old the safety factor goes south after 3 years. The rubber starts drying out as soon as the tire comes out of the mold. Air humidity will slow down or increase the aging process. Here in Arizona I would never run a tire more than 3 years - this is not a rule, just my personal observations and helping stranded customers. I value safety first and foremost. Yes you can drive on tires 10 and more years old and may not have an issue - the question is what could happen if a tire failure happens. Physical damage can be fixed, not sure about humans.

Eaglecrest trust me I was not excited about pulling it home with those tires. I was just happy and impressed we made it without a problem. I own an auto repair shop and wanted to do the tires at my shop. Lots of negative posts here about tires I just wanted to share a positive experience.

I think the G614 tires are LT tires and not ST, which the OP was asking about.

Probably because your tires are 16" tires, and Goodyear G614's are not made in 15" tires.

I didn’t see the st in the op question, my bad. I use to work for Goodyear at a tire factory. The G614 are great tires, I used Westlake tires on one Cedar Creek and I never had a problem with the tires. Between the Westlake tires and Goodyear tires I choose the Goodyear tires. I have heard good things about the Goodyear Endurance tires that’s made in America. I have always used TPMS on my camper tires. I have never had a flat on my camper

Just pulled my like new Castle Rock STs off a 2018 Vengeance toy hauler and replaced them with Goodyear Endurance. Surprised at how minimal the tread depth is on the new Goodyear’s. 8/32” brand new, well less than the used Castle Rocks 10/32”, but I feel more confident that the Goodyear’s will hold together!
