05 Cardinal

Just purchased 05 Cardinal. Attempting to de-winterize. City water fill and fresh water tank fill side by side. Connected city water and flushed anti freeze out, went great. Attempted to put bleach/water mix into fresh water tank to sanitize (almost impossible to do without a short extension hose). Let it sit for four hours. Turned on all faucets and water pump. Water flowed out of the faucets until I smelled bleach. Turned off all faucets. Noticed that water was running out the city water side. Turned off pump. Water filter did not fill with water either.
Is there a vent for the fresh water fill system or is the city water side a vent for the fresh water holding tank?

It seems all units are built the same but different. My 08 both water fill areas are in the same compartment. To the right is the hose connection, to the left the fill opening to fill the fresh water tank and below both and centered is a small screen about dime size thats the vent for the fresh water tank. Mine does not vent throught the hose connection. As for the filter there may be a bypass.

There's a check valve in your city water inlet and its stuck open.
You can try to un-stick it or just replace it as there not that bad to do so.

Here's an example of the small vent for the freshwater tank. Once its full water will run out.
