2003 28' Cardinal

We just recently bought the above rv and noticed a lot of jerking, lurching while towing it home (130 miles). I'm looking to install a glide type hitch but not sure what to get. Any help? Delco, Moryde, Reese, etc.

What you have experianced was called "chucking", thats when the camper and the truck are seeming to be going to the same place but in different times. To stop that or reduce it you will need a different style pin box other than the standard one that comes with Cardinals. I put a 5th Airbourne on Cardinal and it stops about 90% of the chucking.

The hitch will not make a difference unless you get a very expensive air ride type hitch. You did not say what size truck you have, but I would first look into changing over the pin box.

My truck is 06' Silverado 1 ton dually with duramax. We downsized from a 36' hitchhiker that was just too big for our needs.
That 5th wheel had a demco glide ride that worked great. I was just wondering if anyone had some constructive ideas I.might use,

I think you answered your question. I have a TrailAir.

I have a 2003 33CKTS Cardinal. Demco Glide Ride Pin Box and Trail Air E-Quaflex between the springs cured the problems.
