while the trailer was in, they inspected the suspension. all looked good. was going to put wet bolts on it but if there is no significant wear on the bushings after 10 years, i decided not to do it. might one day though. like the idea.

I met with Terry at Forest River and with Lippert at their factory and both said they wouldn't do anything as it was my fault it broke. The reason that they said it was my fault was that I pulled and backed up it too much. The frame was twisted 6 inches out of alignment, but my spring hangers never broke.

That's unbelievabl. I thought the reason for getting a travel trailer was to "go" camping.

The post on the cardinal club forum starts out something like "two weeks to go then...". The post go for pages. Perry much what has been stated here.

I don't know what percent actually develop this problem but it was enough for lippert to print a repair recommendation (or suggestion).
