2014 Cardinal 3850RL Ice Maker/Water in Fridge
We just got a 3850RL and it has the stainless steel fridge with the water/ice maker option on the front. Anyone know how to turn on the water to the ice maker/door? We cannot find it and no one seems to know at the dealer we got it from. I saw some posts that older models have them in the bathroom but I do not see it. We checked under the kitchen sink too. Any help anyone can provide us would be great. Checked manuals, etc and cannot find anything on this.....

I'm really guessing...have you looked in the area behind exterior access panel?

Yes, we looked in access panel, in drawer below oven (next to fridge), under sink in kitchen and bath, under fridge, in fridge, under slide out where fridge is located....hi lo and anywhere in between. Guy here at campground suggested we pull out fridge, but it is screwed into flooring.....not sure where else to look....

I appreciate any and all help. They said it was their most popular model for 2014 so I am hoping someone may have encountered the same thing. We may call the local Forest River place in town and have them come over. We just got the camper on Wednesday so we are thinking it has to be something simple that we are missing.

I think you have to push or pull the valve to open the valve

I can see right where that is but we do not have the valve. It is almost as if someone didn't install it there.....

The dealer said he gave the VIN to his rep on a message and he hopes he'll have an answer to me on Monday. I'll post as soon as someone can help us figure it out. I have a feeling someone was asleep on the assembly line and it wasn't installed. I cannot locate a shut off valve like this pic anywhere. Others have mentioned the same thing by the stove, under the sinks, etc. and nothing. We even checked in the closet near the fridge and anywhere else we could think. Still nothing. When we hear from them I'll post the answer. I sincerely appreciate your help, Cowboy

Our 37 RL is older and not equiped with a residential style refer, but we did have a problem with a leak in the water line feeding the ice maker. The valve feeding the ice maker is located in the access panel, 1/4" poly tuping with a brass needle valve. The valve is connected to a 1/2" water line that runs under the refer and into the storage compartment where the water filter and water pump are located. Check that area to see if you can locate a valve.
We found our leak, turned out to be in the 1/2" line under the refer and behind the electrical pannel. The line had a weak spot due to rubbing aginst framing. Cut and capped the line in the storage area, used the 1/2 line to fish 1/4" tubing to the access panel reconnected to a new valve assemby.
Good luck, enjoy your rig.
Dave

MLS 0707, is the white line in your photo a water line? Looks like a 1/4" poly tubing, could be your feed line.
Have a good day.
