2015 Cardinal 3850RL - Docking Station Questions

We took possession of our 3850RL earlier this year and have only had a chance to take it out for a short shakedown cruise. It was at that time I realized I really didn't know what all the different valves, connectors, etc. were for, or how they worked. I just assumed it would be like my last coach, it was not.

If anyone can tell me how the different levers, connectors, etc, work, I'd appreciate it.

Wish I could give you some answers but we will soon be going on our maiden voyage soon then maybe I can figure out for myself all the different turns. Maybe if you ask specific valve info...

I'm not sure of your question, but something that was different on my 2015 3675 Cardinal that I wasn't used to is the fresh water connection. For using camp ground water leave blue handle pointing up. If you want to fill water tank in 5er twist to the left until full, then turn blue switch back in the up position. Haven't winterized mine yet, but I use air pressure instead of antifreeze. I can't stand the taste of the water till that antifreeze get completely out of the system. Of coarse I assume you know what the holding tank releases are. Just remember to release Black (sewer) first. then the other two after sewer has completely drained. (Helps clean out your hose).

I need a little "schooling" on the valve for ice maker. I bought a square driver and took of the panel door, just inside and beside the dock station, can see the push or pull knob and reach it with one hand but have not attempted to pull the knob or push yet cause can only get one arm in the little opening. This should be easy but I do not know but when I saw the position I thought to myself "hmmmmm"

I assume you are talking about the valve to turn on/off the water supply for the refridgeator. I really had trouble finding where my valve was. I called Forest River 5 times and got 4 different answers (all of which were incorrect) I was told once mine is where I think you said your is. But actually mine was inside the coach below the pantry. But it does turn on the water supply to the fridge. I can't remember if I pushed or pulled it, but it worked and 24 hours later I had ice. Don't forget to push "water" button on fridge and let it run for about 3 or 4 minutes (it eliminates any air in the water line). Plus don't forget to put the filter inside the fridge. It just pushes in, no turning involved.

Lucky for me I can go by my dealer on the way to our first outing. He assured me that I can be in and out in a under an hour. I do have a couple of things that need to be corrected so a worker will make the water line active for the frig as well. I do feel that this is the correct on/off valve for the frig.
