2017 Cardinal 3850 storage door hinges breaking

Anybody had problems with driver side door where the shocks that assist the door opening, had problems with the hinges breaking off.

Which hinge do you mean? The long hinge? Mine started bending, and I believe it's because the shocks are too strong. I noticed the problem when the slam latches no longer latched as the gap kept getting larger. Dealer made some changes and reinforced those areas and mine has been fine ever since.

Yep. I got that from your original post. Maybe some photos would help. I have a 2017 3850rl, but that door on mine has only has one long hinge the entire length of the door. Or do you mean the brackets that the Pistons attach to broke?

We have a 3250 unfortunately I think ours was built on a friday afternoon on a long weekend and all the workers were thinking, how can I get out of here early.
I am not sure about the material they used but the Craftsmanship is less than desirable IMHA.
When we get ours back from the dealer I will be asking a question here.

The long hinge that goes across the top of the door completely broke off of the door and yes it's the door with both of the Pistons that assist opening the door

Oh wow! I have never seen that on mine. ThYs definitely not good. Looks like that door might have to be replaced? I looked on mine, and there looks to be rivets or fastener every few inches. I wonder if that was missed during the build?
