29LE/Small Solar Panel.

I own a Cardinal 29LE FIFTH WHEEL. On top of the rear a/c unit is a small maybe 10"x6" solar looking panel? I was wondering if anyone knows what it is or would be for? Does it have something to do with the thermostat maybe? Recently bought unit to full time in and would love to know the answer to this. Thanks for any assistance.

That trickle charges your battery when you are not hooked to shore power.

Smile It will charge.

I have the same system on my 2008 30LE, I can tell you this from experience it will keep the battery charged but if you are boondocking with just batteries to run your lights and refer control system it will not keep up.
