3350rlx thoughts & questions

hi all,
[great FR forums, and i'm glad i found you]

my recently purchased 2018 3350, is very very nice
the things i like
1 lots of big windows in the living, kitchen area
2 Big french refrigerator, with freezer on bottom
3 and much more

i'm not sure what size socket i need, for the lug nuts[?]
tires st235 80r16 and gl285t
rims 16x6.5jj
8, six sided lug nuts

i haven't yet got the ice maker/water dispenser to work
could be
1 low water pressure
2 i see a possible kink in the line into the ice maker
3 can't close the shut off, unless it's already closed [have to double check]
4 and i'm afraid i might break something, make it worse, or cause a leak

will be pulling with a 2018 ford super duty 350 [2 door]

there is probably a shutoff valve in the water line to the refrigerator. on ours it is a plastic valve that you push in /pull out. and yes i am afraid to move it as it is hard to get to and i don't want to break it. at least ours is open so water flows.

the shut of valve Was off, which shouldn't be a surprise considering it's new.
The small fragile looking valve doesn't move much at all, on to off.
I could have easily broken it, but I now have water and ice, thank you!

other things i like about the 3350 dlx:
auto leveling, and the 9 auto retracting window shades, are very nice

next project, install a rear view backup camera, to give confidence, since this is my first 5th wheel

the living room air conditioning touch control has gone buggy, going from Off, to Auto without me touching it.
Will have to keep a very close eye on this

Marc, Does it look like this?

If so, either your dealer, or you can contact Dometic directly and they will send you replacement faceplates at no charge. The early ones have this problem, and is a known problem. I have three of those, and all were buggy. Since the replacement, no more problems.

i contacted Dometic, and they immediately shipped me a replacement Thermostat

When backing up just use the back up camera see if anything is behind you. Use your mirrors to back up not the camera. You start using both you will lose your mind !
