3850 RL Power Issues

Love this 5er! This is a 2014 unit that was purchased new last year and have only used it for one summer. The unit sits on the same spot most of the time but we do move it some.

This year when we took it out for the first time and everything was fine. The next time out, all of a sudden the stereo system quit working the slide outs switches are dead (both living room and bedroom) and the main awning switch is also dead (not over the slide).

No breakers are tripped and no no fuses are blown.

Any thoughts? Am I missing something silly?

Thanks in advance for any input.

I would check the area where your batteries are located. There are normally 2 or 3 wires located there which give 12 volt power to some areas. They will have a fuse in the wiring. I had one where the fuse wasn't pushed completely in and it shook loose killing my radio 12 volt power.

Usually the slides are powered with their own breakers in the power bay as they draw too much for normal fuses. Some of the other loads you talk about are often fused in the BCC box...if there is one...and not the fuse panel.

The real question is...what happened? You already used it and it was fine. All of a sudden a bunch of breakers and fuses are bad? Strange. I would look at the BCC since it does control the main power to the slides and some of the other loads you are having problems with.

Did you check the fuses on the converter?
