AC Noise

Hello all,
Our 30RK's heater works well however the "air flow/air return" is noisy. In our layout, our recliners sit just in forward of the kitchen counter wherein is the return air grill.
What about a different grill design or possibly insulation of the cavity where the heater return is?
Thank You.

So it's furnace noise instead of A/C noise?

If it's like most furnace return grills, it's just open slots cut into the grill. You could add an air conditioner type filter and that may reduce the noise a little. It may not be enough to make much difference. Beyond that, you could build a labyrinth return box out of dense foam, if you have enough room between the furnace and grill. You may also need to insulate the cabinet that the furnace is in if you're getting transferred noise through the panels.
