I have the power awning on my new camper. I think I prefer the old style.

Better check with your dealer to see if its even possible.
A electric awning mounts different than a manual.
Thus removing a manual and installing an electric may leave unsightly holes behind.
And there may not be blocking in the right spot either to accept an electric.
Good luck

By the Way I love our power awning!

I'm with papap, and prefer the manual.
Far stronger and just one less thing to give trouble.
And the mounting may be an issue as f1100 said.

X2 f1100turbo!
Power for less work and more play or resting time. Mounting can always be accomplished with a little ingenuity! Work a little at home and rest while camping. Just wish I could afford the 6 pt auto leveling system.

I have a Rockwood 2280 Freedom pop up that the bag awning has come apart. I ordered a Dometic Cabana Screen Room Privacy Awning, but was unable to get the actual size rated for my camper. My camper calls for an 11 footer, but all I could find in the screenroom awning was a 10 footer...Hope it still works okay, lol!
