Backup Cameras

Greetings,

The dealer who is delivering a 3950TZ, is saying the backup camera simply attaches by way of a suction cup? I'm assuming this means it's wireless, as the prep work was included. Does that mean the wires are done, and when you're plugged in to the truck, there is a wireless monitor?....simple as that? Anyone out there have a similar setup?

Yes. 2 types of cameras: observation or back up. Units today come pre wired for observation cameras. Simple plug and play. They are MUCH more user friendly with wide angle views. I use mine all the time when backing into sites. One person operation. I use orange cones as my guide in angle and depth.
The good news for OBSERVATION is you see approaching traffic on either side and you can monitor a bike rack at the same angle point.
Once you determine your camera, find info on YouTube videos.

Cheapest on eBay or Wal-Mart. No tax on ebay...

Best investment I ever made in my marriage and the trailer. I still want help backing and still get out and look but this tells me when to do those things better. Observation camera is more powerful. Don't bother with the backup version. It also helps with lane changes if someone is close to the trailer on the side...not the blind spot though that is a separate camera.

Install is 4 screws and plug it in on the trailer. Truck is suction to window and plug in lighter. I prefer to rubber band to the rear view mirror.
