My problem was different. Valve in a hollow wall dribbling-once only. In brief I had accidentally left the flush valve barely cracked open. I saw a drool at the valve cap. Opened valve fully open and fully closed no leak. Repeated leaking supply valve setting and again. Seems if supply pressure is very low, the vac breaker will seep through its exhaust port. Never s drip since.

When I found water had gotten into the storage bay, the water was concentrated under the toilet, however there was no evidence of water leaking down from the pipes. If the water seeped under the rear bulkhead it did not weep up the carpeted bulkhead. The contents were wet, the floor was wet, quite a bit of water came from somewhere but I could not see where it came from. The dealer said they ran water for 45 minutes & found no leaks, so I am sure they will balk at working on it further, meaning I will have to find it.
After dumping & flushing the black water tank, I often close the black water valve & fill the tank up about half way, then open the valve to get the "rush" to push more solids out of the tank. I assume there is no added water pressure to the black water flush line when I am doing this or could this be part of the problem? The water has leaked either way.
I am not sure when I will get my trailer back, been at the dealers since early Dec.
Thanks for any info.

In answering 1010's reply, my water leak is exactly like you describe. My dealer states the check valve can stick and will then leak. If it comes loose from traveling, the valve will work just fine.
Cannot understand why builders put these valves in unaccessible places. Plus, my dealer doesn't know exactly where they are located.
Thanks for the replies.

Thanks for the reply, Bob.
Yes, I agree they must be high to function properly. I have looked in my bathroom vanity, under the shower compartment, and behind 2 false walls. But if the valve is located in the bathroom area, I would surely see water on the floor.

My vanity has a laundry Shute to basement....had the compartment door open while using the flusher and noticed water dripping into the well just inside door....so I started snooping....have seen where some are located behind shower water fixture....can you access the hose from flush port and follow it?

IF you have a back flow valve at the black tank flush connection, you can just remove the vent valve completely and all the excess hose and connect the inlet directly to the black tank flush hose. I did 2 yrs ago and it works better.

Yes, Bob, I can follow the hose from the docking station until it goes up through the floor and don't know where it goes from there. It appears to be near the bathroom but I have never seen water anywhere in the upstairs living area. Looking from the docking station, the water is leaking down the hose where it goes through the floor.

Do you have a back flow valve at the hose connection like the picture I showed?

Thanks of the pictures. What am I looking for, a check valve or a vacuum breaker, are they the same? What do they look like and how do I determine if it is bad, run the black water flush I assume? Your method (as well as others here) seems to be the answer. What is the purpose of the check valve or vacuum breaker if all that is needed is a back flow valve at the inlet?
Thanks

You're mainly looking for something like the picture I posted. If you have that, you can forget the vacuum breaker and just plumb into the flush hose. As to why have both, probably some fed regulation like the minimizer washer in all faucets, SENSLESS!

To reply to oldcoot, no I do not have what you show. There is no valve at the dock station connector.
