Blue Ridge may not be close, but it is the RT or LE. Cardinal is now the LX only and does not use the designation anymore.

Well, after selling both for several years, I can tell you that Blue Ridge is a whole lot closer to the LE than LX ever was.

There were several options that were not available on LE models that are standards on the LX....

Also, all Blue Ridge still come in with invoices on Cardinal letterhead.

If you look at Cedar Creek and Silverback, it is a similar situation.

Having owned my 2007 /2008 for 4 yrs I can tell you mine with the options on it is equipped identically as the rest of the same vintage Cardinal line without the rear cap and oh I forgot the in floor safe.( Fabrics, decors, options identical) perhaps not as std equip but available
Ps I have yet to meet a sales person that has had any true knowledge of what they are selling. They are far and few between. Cardinal never had an "LX" designation in 2008as far as I recall.

Not here to argue with you......as you said, we Salespeople know nothing about our product.

FYI......even my Wildcat has the floor safe. Most FR products did.

You are partially correct. 2007 was the last year of the LX designation. 2008 through 2009 had all LE models. Then comes 2010, and the introduction of Blue Ridge. Now all Cardinals have the mandatory "Red Bird" and "LX" packages.

No offence intended towards you as you must be one of the few that know the product.
I find most do not and will try and sell Eskimoes ice if they can get more commission. Too many experiences to tell but not enough space here. Perhaps a book will be in the works upon retirement.

New to RV'ing we purchased a 2004 Cardinal 33RL that near the door has a logo 33LX. We loved the floor plan and colors. All the needed appliances and a floor safe. We believe we got a great deal, paid $12,500 with a blue book around $15,000 and original MSRP OF $42,000.
Can't wait to hit the road!
