Control panel

I just purchased a Cardinal 3456RLX & have questions about the control panel. First, is the water heater switch in the panel to cut on the electric or the gas? Second, the Power Control System does not light while I have it plugged in to a regular 110 outlet ( I have it plugged in a 110 to only run lights ). Will it not come on with just a 110?
Also, when it is unplugged from any power & I disconnect the battery at the disconnect switch, the front LED lights still work & the small light at the stairs will still be working. Is that normal?
Thanks,
J

What year. I have a 2018 Cardinal with a Suburban water heater with One Control. If you have the one control, the gas portion of the water heater is controlled by it, the electric portion is turned on inside the heater panel. One control is 12 volts and works with or without 110 AC . Newer models have reverted back to switches but all suburban water heaters Iíve seen have an outside switch to turn on electric heater.

Our electric switch is on the heater and propane is in the panel.

My control panel will not turn my hot water heater on and it turns the lights on but then will not shut them off. In addition the tank levels aren't on. HELP OUT CAMPING FAR FROM HOME

Not sure what kind of Cardinal you have but my electric switch for the hot water heater is outside on the WH itself. The propane switch is inside at the control panel.

Jhelmey,
I have the exact same as you. 2019 Cardinal luxury 3456RLX. The battery switch does not turn power off completely. I am guessing that it is a convenience thing. Allowing you to have a light or two that still work when power is off. Water heater button on panel is for gas, rocker switch on water heater is for electric. As to the 110 outlet, I am assuming that you have used a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter to do this. You are only using one leg of 110. The panel is probably on the other leg.
