Dinette table movable?

Hi - Can someone tell me if the dinette table in our Cardinal 3250rlx 2018 fifth wheel can be adjusted to move or is it bolted to the floor permanently?

Thanks
Sandra

I would recommend that you look under the table if it had just a pedestal more then likely its bolted and won't move if not it may be like mine with two legs that can be moved

If you have a standard dinette it should be removable and bed into a bed.

If the connection on the floor ( pyramid shaped) matches won under the top than yes, it is removable.

Some also have a folding leg. I have never heard of a nonremovable table. but that doesn't mean there aren't any.

x2 on the previous. Mine is a pedestal and is bolted to the floor. I guess it could be unbolted. Not sure why you want to do this. I've thought about removing it and putting in a dinette type with storage under the seats. Better use of space too.

Looking at pics of your model on the Forest River/Cardinal web site, it looks like the "feet" of the table are screwed to the floor. You could remove these screws to make the table movable. However, it must then be resecured to the floor before travel. And don't loose or substitute the screws....they are of the proper length so as to hold the table to the floor without going completely through the floor. If the screws were to protrude through the floor, they would cause damage to the bottom seal and floor inside the coach when you brought the slide in.

On my old fiver the top had a piece of ply wood made to slide the table out by having two aluminum z rails attached to the table so it was able to slide and allow people like me to slide around the table then slide it back into place I suppose you could do that to it.

We can look into that option, there always seems to be a way to make it work if you try.

My 3850RL table is also screwed to the floor, however the tabletop itself has a latch underneath allowing it to slide out from the wall about 6 inches, so that the folded down leaf's at both ends can be flipped up giving more table top space.

Woah!!.......nice feature!

Mine has a regular leaf the goes in the middle, just pull the one side out & insert leaf which is stored nicely in the base of the table.

That's it! I couldn't figure out why there was a fold out leafs at both ends and the table couldn't move to open both ends. That is very helpful, you made my day!

Thank you-

Your welcome. I think the table top, along with the chair seats lift up for some hidden storage too. I think I remember that, but we dont use it.

I have a Cedar Creek and the table is screwed to the floor with long screws. I just unscrew the screws and turn the table around. You have to use a number 2 bit, the proper name is a Robinson bit. The number 2 bit is a square bit that fits all the screws in the camper

Well, thanks for that info! My husband and I have been trying to figure out the drop leaf on the window side since the trailer was delivered!
