Dump valve handles, which is which?

I have a 2016 Cardinal 3875FB (first time out) and am confused as to which dump valve handles are which.
OK, I know black from gray but I have two large handles outside the unit. The front one is bronze colored and the rearmost one is gray. Inside the storage area are a small black and a small gray. There are two pipes and I cannot figure which is black and which is gray? Anyone with the same setup, can you shed some light on this dilemma and an idea of which is which?

Typically, where the two come into a single outlet the one with the smaller pipe is gray water.

I feel your pain..I have a 2016 3850RL Cardinal that has two grey handles and one black on the pulls for the drains. I had to just pull one and go to the lights and see if it was tank that I thought it would be. Looks like a simple label from the factory would keep us from guessing. Well, I really needed the exercise anyway so of well...

I discovered that the gray line was hooked up to the black water tank, and the black water tank was hooked up the the gray water discharge. I was only able to empty the black water tank after having driven a couple hundred miles because that allowed the contents to be broken up.

This is on a 2015 F3 motor home.

You can't always go by the color of the handles or the labels. My new Salem Hemisphere Lite has the front grey tank and the black tank mislabeled. I found that out when I thought I was draining the grey tank in my yard the first time. Not pleasant. I have learned that the large pipe will mostly be the black tank and the smaller pipes feeding into it will be grey tanks, no matter how it is labeled.

The pipes are all the same size. I found the best way to discover which was which was by adding a clear fitting. Now I know which valve is black and gray. You need a clear fitting anyway so you can tell when your black tank is empty and clean.

3875 has black handle near front for front bath black water and gray handle for baths gray water I was told. Small black handle in compartment for half bath only. Gray handle in compartment is for galley (kitchen gray water). By utilizing 2 short hoses and a Y fitting all can be emptied with out disconnecting thru your sewer hose.

This, and black water is dark brown with lumps, kitchen is lighter brown and bath is nearly clear, unless you're a really dirty person .

True, you can always hold the hose and feel for the lumps as they go by. Not my choice though, much prefer the clear fitting.
