Thumbs up FR 3550RL wheel bearing grease

what brand of grease should I use? Are these wheel bearings the type you can repack without pulling? I have read forums about changing out the old grease by pumping in new grease. Not sure if I have this type.

Any of the high temp grease that states it's suitable for wheel bearings will work. I use the red stuff. If you have a zerk fitting in the center of the dust cap you have the Easy-Lube hubs or a variation. If you have never greased them they will each take about 1/2 tube. The grease goes in through a channel in the hub and comes out between the seal and the backside of the inner bearing. You are supposed to use a hand gun and lift the wheel and rotate it while greasing. In theory this will push the old grease out the front of the bearing, through the void between the outer and inner bearings and out a vent in the front next to the zerk fitting. What happens more often than not is...the grease blows around the seal and into the brakes. For that reason most people just pack them the old fashioned way and put in new seals at that time...

I have no idea what type of grease or how much in in each axle of my trailer so I plan on pulling them apart and starting fresh.

Peace of mind is not cheap or easy.
