Freshwater Holding Tank

Hello!! We recently brought home a 2005 Cardinal 31BH, and have sadly misplaced the manuals and such that came with it
I'm trying to clean out the freshwater holding tank, because it seems to have had water in it for some time, and is showing signs of dirt/grime in it as well. What would be the best way to go about doing this? And could anybody tell me how many gallons it holds as well?

Thank you very much

As far as the size, I can't help, but as for the flushing part, open your drain valve and let it all drain out close your valve and refill it, do this three or four times, on your last fill add bleach ( depending on size ). It's not hard to do, I flush mine at the beginning of every camping season. Here is a link to give you an idea. Sanidumps: How to Sanitize Your RV Water System

Our previous RV was a 2004 Cardinal. Pretty much all Cardinals built during that time had the same tank sizes. Freshwater was 54 gallons and waste was 120 gallons (combined for all waste tanks). Ours was 3 same sizes waste tanks of 40 gallons each.
