Hello All.

I just found this forum, and wanted join and say hi. My wife and I just bought an '04 Cardinal 29LE and so far think it's going to be great. We want to fulltime once our son is out of highschool, and this unit should be great for the two of us. Our shakedown cruise with it was to the Keys for a long weekend. It pulled great even with the higher than normal wind they had the weekend we were down. I look forward to taking this thing all over Florida and beyond.

Welcome to the group Scuba Stan,
Congrats on the rig! Hope your travels bring you thru Alabama. I happen to think it's one of the most beautiful places in the country. But I may be just a little partial about it. Enjoy your camper and be safe.

Thanx for the replies. No relation to Scuba Steve, but any diver is allright by me. I've heard good things about 'bama. NdJollymon, I saw another post of yours and I believe the correct words are "there is a tale that the island people tell..." Living this close to the tropics of course I know a little Buffett. If you like his music go to youtube or myspace and check out Eric Stone. powerboatr, what kind of boat did you have? We have a '96 Celebrity cuddy cabin. It is fast enough for fun, and it gives us another way to camp. I can't wait to be "trailer trash", we can't quit working but who say's we can't get up and go when we're not at work?

We've even been known to do a little four wheelin', tread lightly of course. Some fishin' from time to time, and even small game hunting once in a while. I started to leave Florida about 20 years ago, but a co-worker told me I'd be leaving the paradise everyone else was wanting to come to. I'm sure we will visit other states, but we haven't seen all of this one yet. My wife and I were both born here, so we have to check from coast to coast, panhandle to the keys to see what all the hype is about.

Dang, did I offend someone or is everyone done talking to me? I know some people are sensitive about hunting, so I hope I didn't get off to a bad start.

Naw, I doubt anyone is offended. I like animals just as much as the next guy. They're tasty.

Don't worry about it. Just a slow day.

I doubt you offended anyone Stan. Certainly not me. Sometimes threads slow down for no apparent reason, sort of like interstate highways can. I am a member of PETA. People Eating Tasty Animals.

Hi Dan and welcome. Actually I was really offended. Shooting poor helpless animals, my eyes are starting to tear up already, which I hate because it makes my granola damp. Ha!

I'm gonna change my name to Scuba something. We could make a club!!

I must say this is the best forum I've ever been on!!! I've lurked on some diver and fishing forums, and none of them seem to have as much fun as you guys do. Whoever started this forum needs a BIG round of applause!
Oh and on a side note, if I can get the time off from work I may get to go camping around Saint Augustine or Jacksonville in two weeks. My sons football team just clinched a playoff spot!!! They have a new head coach this year who took them from being 0-24 to 7-2 with one regular season game left. They haven't been in a playoff since '98. GO HURRICANES

You have offended no one. Most topics only go on about a page or two.

This is a small but growing group. Most of several hundred members just lurk and there always seem to be 3 or 4 guests online. Now that you have been offically welcomed, feel free to post on others topics or start your own.

Now that you're in the water, it's time to swim!
