the underbelly came loose on the first long trip abt 4 mos after buying it new. when we visited the factory (2 yrs later), i mentioned that they could lap it differently and that would prevent it from catching the wind and further tearing it. when they showed me one on the line, they had corrected that.

the kitchen faucet back (under the sink after the valves) is something to watch. the height of the faucet (head) allows a knock as u bleed air from the system. the pressure build is too great for plastic.

the dealer had the same comment abt each manufacture having its own quirks.

after owning a well used trailer (84) from 1992 till 2002 and getting fimiliar with repairs and what to expect, i thought i would have trouble free years ahead with a new one.

i still own the trailer and am not looking to replace. overall, i am happy with the trailer.

We have a 2008 30TS and we love ours. We moved from a 40 MH and I wasn't sure I would like what was for me a step down. The quality is not as a good as the MH but for the price we're pleased. As with all RV's there are things to be fixed and what I've enjoyed is the great service from Forest River. We use our rig over 100 days a year and I for sure would get another Cardinal.

Hello to All,
Sandy and I are new 3859 RL Cardinal owners and would like to start camping with all of you. We had a Heartland Elkridge but found the quality of FR products superior. We found the new heart throb at the Pomona RV show. Would like to know upcoming events we can attend.

We have a Blue Ridge (made by Cardinal) and we really love ours as well. We have owned 7 RV's of different types over the years and this is the first Forest River unit.

We had also heard how "bad" Forest River products are as well when we bought ours but I have found it to be no worse than any of the other brands we have owned, and in some cases better.

ALL RV brands have issues. That's the way it is. You either fix them, live with them, or move on!

Enjoy your RV for as long as you have it. That's how I look at it.

WE have a 30-30 for over 2 yrs and outside of a few issues it has been a good 5 er. You read about problems with any brand. If you take into account the problems relative to units sold it is not very large.

Yes Bigdaddy1 it is a 3850 RL. It has some changes to it but you are correct. My chubby little fingers hit the wrong key
Thank Big D

Greetings all. We have a 2008 39RKS at least it is a 2008 on title. All FR records and NADA searches show it is a 2007. We love it but have had a few issues like others. Need to replace the Concertone this will be #3. 2 slides have broken sheer bolts and just found the fuse holder on the Converter melted. Wear and tear I guess. Still love the 5th wheel though.

We just bought our 3450 RL this summer. Only got to do one maiden voyage in it but everything works good and it was well looked after. All I had to do was a re-seal on the roof. Looking forward to spring!

I have hope that spring is just around the corner but for now we are faced with this cold weather. I would love to spend winter in a warm climate.
