I Have a Forest River Cardinal fifth wheel 2007

Anyway the rest button is staying lit and will not go off I have tried shutting circuit breaker and waiting but still stays on aferwards tried switching over to propane that is not not working either wondering if it is my element that's going, any suggestions?!owners manual does not have a trouble shooting section

You don't mention what kind of HWH you have, but I would disconnect shore power and also battery for one minute and reconnect. This might reset 12 volt side of heater.

Turning off the breaker kills the 120v circuit. You need to turn off the 12v circuit to cause the reset, but that usually happens just by turning off the WH propane control switch adjacent to that light.
