Installing Hardwood flooring

Hello all!
I am new here. I have a 2002 Cardinal 29 ft.Has anyone installed hardwood flooring in these units and is it much of a job best flooring to use in RV's etc.
Would appreciate any help here!

I was thinking more in the lines of the hardwood laminates such as bought at Home Depot.(not the thick 5/8" stuff)what I would like to find out which type to use?
There are some with sticky backing and others just laid on felt! all are fairly thin!

I added laminate flooring to a hybrid I had. It was fairly easy. I would go with the thin stuff, it will add weight to the camper. I think I would also go with the stuff that is laid on felt, with the movement of the camper and traveling.

I would go with a laminate floor (ie: Pergo) and stay away from anything real wood as moisture might become an issue. Like Big Dawg said you will be adding weight so that will factor into your TV capacity as well as the cargo capacity of your trailer.

Thanks for that! I was trying to find out if sticky back had advantages over layed on felt or vise versa!
and would like to know if anyone has pictures or video of the actual installation as I'm planning on doing this work myself.
I am only planning on doing the kitchen and dinning area(lower level)
slide area is a little worrysome!!

If you install a laminate flooring make sure you leave some room for expansion. At least one quarter inch all around the perimeter and some sort of baseboard will have to be installed around to cover this expansion. Please note that laminate dont like water at all and if you have water leaks in your trailer at the floor location a vinyl flooring woud be a better idea. Humidity is also an enemy to laminate flooring.!
