New Cardinal 3350

Brought home our new 3350 on 13 August and have spent the last week plus familiarizing ourselves with its operations. We have two switches and a dimmer switch we cannot figure out. The first switch is in the controller panel next to the solar controller and the other is a light switch and a dimmer next to the entry door. Can't seem to figure out what either control, could use some help and/or advice.

just guessing! the switch by the controller panel looks to be a 110 vac switch. the other appears to be 12 vdc.

for the 110 vac switch do you have a ceiling fan? could it be the on/off switch for that? there may also be pull chain on the fan itself. both would have to be in the on position.

our cardinal has several led light strips on top of or below some cabinets. the 12 volt switch may be for these. you really only see them when the inside of the trailer is dark.

The switch next to your Go Power panel is for your WiFi Ranger, if equipped. The light switch/dimmer are your kitchen ceiling lights. If you have the One Control touch pad system you have to turn the lights on with the touch pad and then turn the lights on and off with the switch.

As you probably already know the black 110v switch (looks like a regular house switch) is for your living room ceiling fan.

Let me know if you have more questions as you shake it all out. We’ve had our 3350 for a few months and we are really enjoying it.

Figured it out...

After some further research we figured out the switches, the switch in the control panel next to the solar controller was the switch for the Wifi booster and the switch and dimmer next to the entry door are for the ceiling lights over the couch. We had to turn the lights on via the computer control panel first and then the switch and dimmer operated properly.

We are slowly getting things figured out. From this little issue to some other concerns you may be able to guess our "walk around" the RV at the dealer before we brought it home was not the best. We got a great deal on the price of the 5th wheel but haven't been that impressed with the customer service.

Glad you figured it out. We just got our 3350 in April this year and it took me awhile to figure out the same switch issues. We have gone out monthly since then. Love it. So far only one issue with tank drains/vents. Retirement's on the horizon so looking forward to extended travels.
