Might be late for cons but awareness could lead to early fixes

Purchased a 2014 3450RL full Paint and love it. Only complaint was the tires . Changed to G614 before we left dealership and have no problems.. Left on a 3 month west trip almost 12,000 miles with no problems. We absolutely love this unit. We had 2 Carriages prior to this unit the first had no problems but the last one a 2010 made up for that, we had so many problems with it I used to tell people it was made on a Friday afternoon of Monday morning. We love the Lippert 6 point leveling system. On the Carriage it was only 4 jacks and nothing but trouble. Had 3 brains and 4 sensors replaced and still had the same problems. Wish you luck with your Cardinal. We will be attending the National Rally with our unit.

Congratulations on your new cardinal! We have a 2013 3030 and we have had some issues, but I will have to say that FR is really stepping up and taking care of the issues. You should have 2 batteries minimum since you have the residential fridge. I would also suggest you get the 2 year warranty if you have not already. They really are beautiful RV's. Do you have the full body paint? If so, there have been issues with the paint cracking where it was painted over caulking. We had the same issue and they fixed it. Jerry.

We have the 2 batteries in our unit. We had the same trouble with the long screws . Discovered it after unit was out of warranty. I purchased a new tire thinking that it was a defect in the tire. When I put the tire back in place that is when I discovered the long screws (one went threw hand). I called FR warranty and they requested I send them the receipt and they reimbursed me. I have had so many compliments on the full paint

Yes, we have the full body paint . Called Sunset. I have been following the forum and have seen the one on "Cracking Paint"
FYI, If you have a residential frig or just an inverter. You may want to check your spare tire. Our dealer checked units on lot after I called him and there was some units with the same issue.
