Options

If you were going to order a new Cardinal are there any options that you would make sure you had? From your experience"s is there any thing for the wish list that you have you like or wish you had?

I like the heated bed and the slideout awnings. I'd also negotiate for MaxxAir II covers on your vents if they don't offer that as an explicit option.

BIG air conditioning.. If you are thinking of cold weather, heated tanks. Storm windows if they are offered. Can't get too much insulation in an RV, although they add weight. Most of the rest are usually creature comforts. Same may be said for the AC, but it is worth it in my opinion.

Any type of countertop extensions, The best available batteries and tires, and "power" everything that is available. Also, don't waste money on extended warranties, I.M.O. Remember, the more options you get, the more it is worth later, at resale. Randy

One thing I do want to get a price on is a, self leveling system. We had them on our motor homes and it's a nice feature.

Well, to start with; Day/Night window shades, sink covers, range cover, larger oven, two 12v batteries, 10gal. water heater, upgraded the A/C to 15k, power awning, the extended grab handles at the exterior doors, the FR extra year extended warranty for $150.00 at time of purchase...that's a few ideas.

Oh, that reminds me that if you are custom ordering you may be able to get a tankless water heater! I wish I had one...I don't think they are that much more than the traditional Suburban wh if installed at the factory.
