Paint Cracking Issue

Hi guys! New here on the forum. I tried to respond to an old thread regarding the paint Cracking on the caulking but it wouldn't let me.

Anyway I have a 2013 Cardinal 3675 with the same issue and wondering how the others that previously posted about this issue had it repaired? I bought this fiver used so I have no warranty. Hoping its an easy fix.

Thanks in advance!

Get the paint # and mix it with your caulking.

How do you mix paint with caulking? Is there a particular type of caulking you use with the paint?

Just an update on how I took care of my painted over caulking Cracking issue.

First I used a razor knife to carefully cut and scrape the flaking paint off the original caulking.

As advised by Jackknife I mixed matching paint with the caulking and caulked over the areas I scraped. Some areas were large globs of caulking that had peeled away from the surface leaving the unpainted white surface exposed.

The lighter colored areas worked best with the paint colored caulk but the black did not look as good. So I used a small artist brush and painted or dabbed the exposed areas with the touch up paint. After letting it dry thoroughly I then caulked over those areas with clear ProflexRv caulking. I found this method to work the best rather than using paint colored caulk. Very time consuming and still working on it. Hope this helps anybody dealing with this issue on their own.
