Picked up new Cardinal 3800FL

We just picked up new Cardinal 3800FL on Saturday.
It is well equipped for what we want to do the road.
Traded in our 29MBV XLR toy hauler. Exited about being able to work camp and travel in 2 years.
Went straight to Joe Pool lake, after the PDI for a week, as we live close and can still get to work from the lake.
It tows wonderful and is a nice looking unit. We will be going to Fredericksburg in November for a week or so.

Picture to come later this week.

Congratulations on your new Cardinal. Hope the shakedown trip goes well. Just curious what dealer did you buy it from?

Jonrjen,

We bought it from United RV in Ft. Worth, Texas. Easy to deal with and had good knowledge of the TT.
So far it has needed minor stuff. That is why we are doing a 2 week test at the park to get to know the unit better.
It has the 6 point auto level system that worked like a charm. The DW does not any movement in the rv so it use to take a long time to get her happy.

Pics of new Cardinal 3800 FL

Some pics from the first camp.
Went from picking it up after PDI, to the campground for 2 week camp to test all of the features. On the third day we had 4 inches of rain in 2 hours, went to straight line wind at 80 miles an hour then to hail storm all in less than 4 hours. Glad that's over.
No damage on trailer just got to check for leaks faster than I thought!!!
It has the 6 point leveling system that works very nicely.
I can get to beer quicker now..

Congratulations I have a 2013 3800 FL , how do you like it so far? We love ours the only issue we have is with the refrigerator it doesn't run on propane so on drives over 3 hrs the fridge drains the battery and gets warm. I'm going to add another battery.

Your battery should be charging from your truck anytime it is plugged in to tow. You my want to make sure your charge circuit is hooked up on the truck or blown fuse.

So far, we have had it camping for the last 2 weeks.
Came home on Sunday. We will, not get to use it until November for 10 days. My boss is being unreasonable about time off!!!! We love the unit as much as we thought we would. The front living is the stuff, as well as the 6 point level system is great so far.

Congrats, we took delivery of our 3800FL in September. We love it! Can't imagine ever going back to a rear living.

Just curious since I've never been in one, what's so much better about the front living room?

The thing that got our attention , is the openness of the front. It has 2 slides in the front, 2 in the bedroom and the whole kitchen slides as well . It is our first fifth wheel rv and we like the room when we can retire and live full time work camping or just to travel in. I do like the full size fridge.
I think this was exactly what we wanted.

I like the front living room because it feels cozier and more like a home. You don't have the high ceiling like you do if it's in the middle or back.

We like the four spacious rooms. The kitchen is large enough to move around and seat four people at the table comfortably. The living room and bedroom are huge. I like being able to take a shower without waiting for my wife to get out of bed...to name just a few reasons.

My wife and I took delivery of our 3800 FL in September as well. Upgraded from a 30 ft TT. We recently started managing an RV resort in Cedar Key Florida, and so far it's been like moving into a nice luxury apartment. We absolutley love it so far and have had only two issues with it. The Bluetooth stopped working on the Furrion DVD1200 stereo, and the factory installed awning LED lights have come loose in a few places.
