Pullrite 2100 ISR 5 hitch question

Canít seem to email Pullrite customer service so will ask my question here.

I have a 2100 ISR Super 5 hitch and am wondering if a Teflon disk can be used without damaging the hitch?
Iíve read on the web that it should not be used as it limits the clearance of the pin to the locking mechanism.

Also Pullrite users what lube do you find the best to use when you lube the hitch.

Thank you for any info you can offer me
