DH is going to measure our 2015 Coachmen Chaparral 360IBL when it's hooked up to the truck (2014 Ram 3500 4x4) because that truck bed is HIGH. I googled websites about height and found that states have different legal restrictions. This website shows them: State Road Laws | RV Trip Wizard? | RV Trip Wizard Inc.

We are going to be buying a Cardinal later this year as well -- why would you let your storage facility dictate what your home will be? Just wondering...

Personally, I'd switch storage facilities - we LOVE our Cardinal 3450RL Floorplan!

We also have a 2014 Cardinal 3450RL and love it. This unit replaced our 2010 Carriage and there is no comparison. Carriage was a top of the line unit but they went downhill towards the end before they closed, we had so much trouble with it that we decided to get rid of it. A friend of ours has a 2013 Alpine front living room and has many issues with it, not the quality of the Cardinal.

We have a 2015 Cardinal Front Living. With 2 air conditioners and a kingdome, we top out at 13 feet 6 inches.
