Rear Stabilizer Jacks?

Are the rear stabilizer jacks just supposed to come down and stop or should they continue to raise the back end?

Mine stop on contact with the ground. Sounds weak.

You see the rear end pick up a little if you watch then release the button. If you hold it to long it will pop your reset. They should have pressure on them and the only way they wouldn't if you let off the button before it moves up. Keep an eye on them when they both hit the ground. If your on a slight slope one will touch down first then the other, then both are on the ground solid you will see the rear pick-up a little then your done and solid.

Are these just the Lippert Elec/Gearbox type or Elect/Hydro? On a full body paint Cardinal I would think Hydro! Youroo!!

I think he only has the lippert elec. gear box, last week he tripped the auto reset on the motor if I'm not mistaking.

I'm almost positive that they are. The sound of the motor will slow and you will hear it. Just keep it pushed until you see a slight lift. Trust me those motors will handle the pressure. The worst can happen is that it will trip the auto reset. You will get the hang of it...

Thanks! Being my 1st fifth wheel, I just wasn't sure what to expect from them.
