Shakedown Cruise

We purchased a 2017 Cardinal 3250 RL at the end of March. This is the first outing and we are shaken out any bugs. Not far from home but, Williston Crossing is an awesome RV Park.

I sure will have many questions about this new coach hope ya'll are patient.

Congratulations on your new Cardinal from Central Florida. Williston Crossing is where we hold the Florida Frog rally Sept 28th thru the 30th. Registration should be sometime next month. Hope you can join us.

There is also the Bamaganza17 Rally in Gadsden right after that and registration is now open.

We stayed at Williston Crossings and liked it 100%. Liked the town 2%. Gainesville and Ocala are great but 20 miles is tough on my old bones for a quick 40 mile run....

Shake down cruise went great. Then we really ventured out. Went to Talladega, AL. what a great trip it was. The only problem was with the satilite couldn't be connected in the wet bay. Had to run the satilite cable thought the window connect directly to get tv. Called the dealership and I was told Dish Network don't seem to work with a splitter box which is what was installed on our coach. I still haven't figured out a fix yet.

If your 3250rl is wired like my 3850rl, then the fix is pretty easy. You'll need to remove the bulkhead in the basement, and remove the splitter, and run both coax to the satellite, and aux connectors in the wetbay. On mine aux was unused. That would give you direct runs to bedroom and living room. I'd test it out and figure out which is which and label the connectors in the wetbay accordingly.

I happen to use DirecTV with swm, so splitters aren't a problem for me, but I had to redo a couple of the connectors.
