I use the LARGE pool noodles. Cut em just a tad long and wedge em in about every four feet.
Guess Using a rope to tie em all together would make removing em easier but I have a broom stick I just use to knock em loose. Then again I seasonal so it is a once a year in and out.
I tried tightening the tension on the 12 foot slide but as I posted before the tension does not help because the length of the roller is so long it is not rigid enough on its length to resist bowing in at the center. So more tension does nothing about the center sag...helps the ends but not the center.
