Suggestions wanted for storm door

All,

I purchased storm door inserts from RVDoorbuddy.com, and they fit perfectly into the recessed side of each of the openings. However, they send hardware along that assumes that the recesses are shallower than mine are, that screw into the surround, and twist to hold the panels in place. Because the recesses are much deeper, I'm looking for another method to hold the panels in place. There are grooves in the recesses, and I'm thinking that I can hold the panels in place with tabs that push into those grooves much like what holds the backing on a picture frame. IN the photo below, it's kind of hard to see, but there are two sets of grooves, one deeper, right at the panel, another one a bit closer to the surface which is easier to see.

Any idea's of something from homedepot/lowes that would work? Like, if I were to use typical tongue depresser from the Dr's office that would work. Something along those lines I guess.

I guess I need to head to a hardware store, and get some rubber window glazing similar to this, the way it looks: https://www.ebay.com/itm/CRL-Black-U...EAAOSwhCpan047
