Surge protector install

Can anyone tellll a surge protector on a forest river cardinal. There is no access near the shore power receptacle.

where is the receptacle located? Most can be accessed from the basement area. That's how I got to mine

Receptical is on rear. Have a rear living room with sofa in rear. There is a small shelf on each side. The. Receptical is behind the panel. Unfortunately, there is no way to get behind the panel without destroying it. Looks like I will have to place it behind the extricated panel.

You don't have to do anything where the power comes into the camper. Where is the breaker panel? Is the back of it accessible from the basement storage?

Turn off all power and uplug, turn off 12 volt and disconnect battery...then

Take the cover off your power center, should be 2 or 4 screws

Once the cover is off, you'll see more screws holding the power center in the cabinet, take those off and pull our power center.
